Hodge Bank and Tramshed Tech are working collaboratively on a series of events running bi-monthly throughout 2020 to bring together innovative startups and established business’ to develop solutions to common challenges.

These events aim to enable discussion around some of those challenges, gain more understanding on potential solutions, support interaction between problem owners and solutions providers.

Managing in a COVID World

The outbreak of Covid-19 has drastically changed the world of work, subsequently altering the cyber threat landscape.

In this session we will hear from leading experts in the field of cyber security and data science to better understand why the 'traditional network' no longer exists. And how working from home, returning to the office and the use of fear affects the safety of businesses online infrastructure. We will also hear about the use of AI in helping prevent cyber attacks and risk.

This session was certified by the CIPD and will provide 1 hour of CPD credits to all attendees.

Director and Executive Coach at Transformation Partners (Wales) Ltd

An Chartered Occupational Psychologist and executive coach, Phil has been providing OD consultancy services, and coaching, to a wide variety of private and public sector organisations for over 28 years, Philippa has coached chief executives, Management at all levels and senior teams in organisations ranging from Professional Service Organisations, Blue Chip companies, and senior public servants within and outside of the UK.

Previously a part of Deloitte LLP’s consulting team for 10 years, Phil set up her own coaching and development practice in 2002. In 2006 with her business partner, Phil set up Transformation Partners (Wales) Ltd and, as one of the Directors, leads their coaching services.

Phil’s coaching client list is varied and includes private and public sector organisations such as Deloitte LLP, ABB, BAA, Marks and Spencer, Wilmott Dixon, Principality Building Society, Cardiff Metropolitan University and Swansea University, Welsh Housing Associations, Welsh Councils and NHS Trusts, The Public Ombudsman of Wales and his senior team, Academi Wales, Wales Audit Office, the Intellectual Property Office and the Welsh Government.

Phil coaches in the areas of leadership development, management development and career development and is passionate about how psychological models and principles can be applied to people and teams in business, and how coaching can facilitate effective performance improvement, leading to improved well-being, greater efficiency and cost reduction.

She also acts as an Executive Coach for Cardiff Metropolitan University on their private sector Leadership programmes, and previously on Public sector and construction specific programmes, and has worked as an Executive Coach for IMD Business School in Lausanne.

Phil has also enjoyed being able to write articles and contribute to book chapters on the topic of coaching over the years.

Cai Gwinnutt, CTO Tramshed Tech

Cai is an experienced Product Owner and Technology Executive with a passion for building great products and teams. Cai has worked across medical, education, artificial intelligence and startup sectors.

Cai is passionate about developing highly productive, happy teams. Cai has worked for startups and enterprises, from Software Developer to Technology Advisor. He considers technology a tool that should automate the mundane, simplify the complex and then get out of the way to allow people to achieve their potential.
