What will the event cover?
Business Wales are hosting the first ‘Creating a Business Mindset and Entrepreneurial Spirit’ event with us at TT. We are excited to announce we have BBC 1’s The Traitors very own traitor, Andrew Jenkins, as a keynote speaker. Andrew will be sharing his story of how he has overcome huge challenges and barriers in his life and is now on his own journey to set up his own business, with the support of Business Wales.
They will also be welcoming Em Melrose and Adam Brooks, who will be showing you how to build the right mindset to succeed in business.

Speaker Bios
Andrew Jenkins
Andrew was recently on the hit BBC1 reality TV show ‘The Traitors’ on BBC iPlayer. In 1999, Andrew suffered a horrendous car accident at the age of 21. He does motivational talks to various audiences to help try and break the stigma around mental health, proving to people that you can achieve great things in life even after suffering adversity.
Andrews inspiring story is one of heart ache. determination, resilience, and grief but also positive and uplifting. He has big plans for 2024 and really hopes to inspire many people and try to help end the stigma around mental health.
Em Melrose
Em has over 25 years working in both the private and public sector, as a senior leader managing large teams and complex operations. She now runs her own businesses, Business Growth Mentors & True Connectors, bringing her lived experience to the SME community.
Em is a certified ILM7 Executive Coach and Mentor, qualified in Neuro Linguistic Programming (NLP). She’s an experienced practitioner in both DiSC and Havening and is a Reiki master. She draws from a wide range of proven tools and techniques to help her clients gain a deeper understanding of themselves and expand their emotional intelligence to improve business and personal performance.
Adam Brooks
Adam has been developing people in business for over 25 years and has coached clients to success in retail, wholesale, manufacturing and service industries. Prior to creating Sales Academy in 2011, Adam invested over 11 years as a sales professional in various industry sectors from FMCG to Communications, and has experience both in the private and public sector environment, turning a £5 million contract into £10 million contract in under 4 years.
Adam knows what it takes to get results in sales & in business. He currently holds direct sales roles in each of his businesses; Sales Academy, SkineeRino & True Connectors.
