Marie's Bio:
Marie is the General Partner and Co-Founder of Two Magnolias VC, an impact fund dedicated to investing in the transformational economy and human health-focused startups. The fund aims to diversify and create a more equitable flow of capital and optimise returns by investing in underrepresented founders with a regional lens. Marie, and her Co-Founder, Jessica Rasmussen are currently raising a £50m Fund 2 to expand their impact and reach. Before founding Two Magnolias VC, Marie built an extensive 20-year career in financial markets, working with prominent European asset managers and esteemed global top tier banks in various trading and sales roles.
Will's Bio:
Will Chappel leads the Palatine Growth Credit Fund, launched in 2024 to support fast-growing, venture-backed tech companies across the UK regions. The Fund provides growth credit to B2B technology businesses in sectors such as cyber, fintech, SaaS, healthtech, AI, and advanced manufacturing.
With over 20 years’ experience in Corporate and Investment Banking and Fund Management - including 15 years in Technology and Growth Credit - Will works closely with founders to accelerate growth, expand sustainably, and reduce shareholder dilution. Since launch, the Fund has completed nine investments, helping fuel innovation across the UK.
