Speaker Bio 

As the Fund Principal for Foresight Private Equity Team, Stephen Galvin is the driving force behind the Investment Fund for Wales (IFW), overseeing origination, deal execution, and portfolio management from the Cardiff office.

Steve served as the Senior Investment Executive at the Development Bank of Wales, playing a key role in the Wales Management Succession Fund. Prior to that, during his tenure as Director of Leveraged Finance at Lloyds Banking Group from 2006 to 2015, he executed impactful all-debt deals in Wales and the South-West. Steve's career began at Grant Thornton LLP, where, as a Senior Manager in Corporate Finance from 1999 to 2006, he provided strategic guidance on buy and sell-side transactions for owner-managed businesses and mid-market clients.
