What will the workshop cover?  

 

January can be a difficult month and Blue Monday can be a particularly tricky day for many which is why we wanted to create a safe space for you to get some head space.  This is a self-lead session, so whether you’d like to immersive yourself in a VR meditation or you’d benefit from taking time to set 2023 goals - or both - we’ve got you covered.  

  

Thinking about the year ahead can be overwhelming and VR meditation can help aid this practice by experiencing feelings of awe, relaxation, mindfulness and connection. If you can find 30 minutes to step away from your desk to meditate and goal set for the year ahead, your future self will thank you.  

  

What attendees will get out of the workshop?  

 

If you struggle to build mindfulness practice in the ‘real’ world, this VR meditation experience removes all distractions without leaving the office. It can be a steppingstone into building mindfulness as a skill, which you can transfer to your personal and professional life.   

  

You can make this workshop your own, by booking a 30-minute time slot anytime during the day through the booking link. After the meditation, we encourage you to fill out the worksheets provided to jot down your personal or professional aspirations for the year. Simply hand these into Front of House and our Comms team will keep these safe and keep you accountable with quarterly checkins throughout the year.

If you’re in some need of some head space, always wanted to try an immersive meditative experience or fancy giving the new Meta Quest Pro a try (generously provided by Virtus Tech) then this self lead session is for you!
