Future of A.I. Wales

Over the past four years, AI Wales has become a common forum for professionals, graduates and beginners alike to learn more about artificial intelligence, machine learning and its applications in our ever connected World. Now, more than ever, it is important to nurture and support our local communities — especially those that bring people together to share knowledge and break down barriers to opportunity. These communities give us the opportunity to connect with others, reach for our goals and feel connected to part of something bigger.

That’s why at Tramshed Tech we remain committed to our meetup and event programme.

Over the past four years, Jaymie Thomas and Dave Pugh have grown AI Wales to a community of over 1,000 members and hosted an impressive range of guest speakers from all over the World. Through a varied programme of keynotes from industry-leading professionals, lightning talks from across the community, and walkthrough workshop sessions — AI Wales has become a common forum for professionals, graduates and beginners alike to learn more about artificial intelligence, machine learning and its applications in our ever connected World.

At Tramshed Tech, we remain committed to AI Wales and sponsoring the meetup through 2021 and beyond. With our shared network of partners and speakers, we look forward to finding new opportunities to support the growing AI and machine learning scene across Wales.

Whilst we are currently unable to host in-person events, we look forward to welcoming everyone back to Tramshed Tech soon and have big plans to grow and support the next generation of AI startups, data scientists and machine learning engineers.

“We’re humbled by how much AI Wales has piqued the interest of so many people in the Cardiff area and beyond. From the start the Tramshed Tech team saw the need for this kind of community support and knowledge-sharing, and generously provided us with a first-class venue. We’re delighted that they’re able to continue their support for our group through these challenging times. As soon as we can safely meet again we look forward to working with the team again, catching-up with our existing members, and welcoming new ones too."
