BEL x TT Coffee Morning with Jo Parikh

What will the event cover?  

Each month we host a coffee morning with Barclays Eagle Labs to bring together women in the ecosystem with a focus on tech and digital. This month join us for an interactive talk from Jo Parikh, the founder of Poppet, which is app designed to help families find the safest and most relaible childcare with vetted Babysitters, Nannies, childminders and other local families.  

Jo decided to set up Poppet after seeing that 1 in 3 UK mothers cannot return to the job they'd like to after having a baby because of a lack of affordable, flexible childcare. The average working family spends £1.7k/month per child (!) on nursery fees. Poppet's mission is to fix this by helping parents find flexible childcare that feels like family right in their own communities.
