Laura Franses - Advisor to the Commercial Growth Fund at S4C Digital Media
Laura is one of the most preeminent investors and commercial strategists in the TV and digital sector, having successfully completed over 30 transactions in this space. Her experience spans executive roles at Channel 4, ITV, Nutopia Ltd, and Zodiak.
Laura joined S4C to set up and run their investment fund in autumn 2023 and completed their first investment into Kubos Limited earlier this year (https://kubos-semi.com/). Previously, Laura set up and ran the highly successful Channel 4 Growth Fund, resulting in a portfolio of 13 investments, of which seven companies were sold, including Eleven Films (creators of Sex Education), Whisper Films (sports producers sold to Sony), True North (sold to Sky), and Voltage (sold to BBC Studios).
She joins most recently from ITV, where she worked on the launch of the digital platform ITVX.
