The Broadcast Engineering & Technical Operations Bootcamp is an intensive, industry‑led training programme designed to develop the next generation of technical professionals for Wales’ growing broadcast sector. Over six immersive days, participants will explore the systems, infrastructure and technologies that power modern live broadcasting.
Through hands on workshops, demonstrations and access to real broadcast environments, learners will gain the technical confidence and practical experience needed to progress into specialist roles within the broadcast, media and live production industries.
This bootcamp is designed for individuals with existing technical aptitude or early-career experience who want to deepen their expertise in broadcast systems, engineering and live production operations.

This is not an entry level creative course. It is best suited to people ready to learn complex workflows in IP broadcasting, live systems integration and engineering operations.
This bootcamp is delivered in partnership with Tramshed Tech, Whisper TV, Cardiff and Vale College and fully funded by Cardiff Capital Region.
The bootcamps will run 7th – 9th April 2026 & 14th – 16th April 2026.
