Introducing the Female Founder Investor Readiness Programme

Entrepreneurship in Wales has been developing fast, with a noticeable increase in the number of female tech entrepreneurs. To support this positive trend, Tramshed Tech, along with noteworthy partners, are delighted to launch the Female Founder Investor Readiness Programme.

Introducing the Female Founder Investor Readiness Programme

In recent years, the landscape of entrepreneurship in the UK, particularly within Wales, has been witnessing an increase in the number of female founders. To further this trend and provide support, Tramshed Tech, supported by British Business Bank and supporting partners AberInnovation, Welsh Ice, AccelerateHER, and M-SParc, has proudly launched the Female Founder Investor Readiness Programme.

Louise Harris, CEO at Tramshed Tech and a female founder herself has said:

“As a female founder, I am deeply committed to championing female-led businesses. Wales has shown remarkable potential, with 12.1% of high-growth companies being female-led in 2023, the highest rate among all UK regions. I am thrilled to launch our Female Founder Programme in partnership with British Business Bank and other supporting partners, focusing on empowering women in investor readiness."

What Is The Female Founder Investor Readiness Programme?

With a predominantly female senior leadership team, Tramshed Tech is dedicated to enhancing support for female founders across Wales.

This new tech innovation programme spans six months, helping in investor readiness, skills development for investment opportunities, and invaluable access to networks and mentorship.

The programme finishes with a demo day, providing founders with a platform to showcase their ventures to potential investors.

Designed for female founders and co-founders eager to connect with like-minded female entrepreneurs, the programme offers a hybrid format, ensuring flexibility to accommodate the busy schedules of female tech entrepreneurs in Wales.
