INTO INNOVATION

This strand supports 15 early-career professionals (within their first 1-3 years of employment) from high-growth, frontier sectors across the Cardiff Capital Region, equipping them with the skills and confidence to become Innovation Ambassadors within their organisations and industries.

The programme takes a hands-on, practical approach, combining interactive workshops, real-world case studies, mentoring and guest speakers. 

Participants will develop an innovation-driven mindset, strengthen regional innovation literacy, and build meaningful connections between emerging talent and industry to help drive future growth across the region.

INTO STEM

A curated programme of events and community-building sessions designed to support women in tech and female founders across the Cardiff Capital Region. 

It promotes inclusion, visibility, and entrepreneurship by creating safe, empowering spaces for connection, learning, and growth.

The programme builds on existing regional activity and identifies gaps to help close the gender gap in tech through new opportunities and initiatives.

INTO TECH

A youth-led programme connecting young people and employers in STEM across the Cardiff Capital Region.

Focused on building inclusive pathways into STEM careers through community, storytelling, and employer engagement. 

The programme aims to empower young people and early career individuals through peer-led development, and equip employers to better support early career talent in STEM.

INTO EDUCATORS

Designed to upskill educators and trainers across HE, FE, and the private sector. It builds rapid innovation capability across the region, ensuring that modern, real-world learning experiences are embedded into classrooms and sustained beyond the pilot.

Venture into Educators will equip educators with the skills and confidence to deliver the Innovation strand of the Venture Into Programme through:
Sector-leading practice in innovation pedagogy.

  • Cross-sector collaboration between HE, FE, and private training providers.
  • Real-world immersion in high-growth sectors.
  • Curriculum co-design and pedagogical innovation.
  • Creation of reusable, curriculum-aligned teaching resources.
  • Peer-led CPD model for scalable impact.
